The following visualization is generated with direct calls to the New York Times API. Every month is represented by an arc. In this case, graph covers months from 2006 to 2009. The entire app is built with the Processing framework.
The longer the arc, the more the word was mentioned in the particular month. The result exports in SVG format ready for print.
